Our lovely display of Valentine cards will bring a smile to your face! Don't miss this truly extraordinary collection!
In the mid-1800s, with the advent of the postage stamp and advances in low cost printing, greeting cards became affordable. By the early 1900s, Valentines were the most popular card and the most elaborate.
Of note are the "honeycomb" Valentines. These were manufactured in the United States by the Beistle Company.
Mr. Beistle was the first to produce and use honey comb tissue in the United States, and the company produced honey comb Valentines from 1925 to 1939.
