Driving Tour of the 1847 Inland "Kolonie" - October 2020

Enjoy the fall colors and learn more about local history with a new driving tour sponsored by the Zeeland Historical Society.  The tour takes you to Groningen, New Groningen, Zeeland, Overisel, Drenthe, and Vriesland. 

Along the way you will learn the stories of these communities, all founded by Dutch immigrants in 1847 and each one different from the others. You will also be able to enjoy the beauty of rural west Michigan as fall takes over .
